the plastic is 3d printed and not injection molded, which means that there is to much play between the copper bars in the plastic body. as a result of this the tips make contact with each other and short circuit. for this reason the tool can not be used as designed and i will have to adapt it to have fixed non moving tips and a switch on the out side of the tool. the fact that i have to adapt it to make it work defeats the reason to buy it in the first place, can not recommend this tool there are other devices that are cheaper and better than this, i only bought this because it looks nice and complete but it was a mistake buying it.
The contacts touch each other. The connector on the lead is just the contacts of the switch. If you supply the required 800A to the back of the bars and the front of the bars are touching the bars will weld to each other. The white piece is 3d printed. Not worth the price.
A thief. I recommend not to buy. It can't even work. I'm sorry that I didn't try the measuring device when I received it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. NOT EVEN AS PARTS!
No function, no instructions that indicate whether a power pack or battery with what power should be connected, cable with round plug without function
