Since there's a lack of informative comments on Joom, i will write a proper review. A nice unit actually, i was impressed by the sound quality, i was thinking it will be worse for this price. Easy installation, quite straight forward but with few things to consider. 1. If you want the unit to proper shut down when you take the car keys, disconnect the yellow and other cable with the label "no canbus" or something like that and that is it. Radio sucks but in the radio menu choose DX an it will go to the car antenna, it will still have bad connection on vibration so you need to isolate the outer part of the antenna which goes into the input with electric tape, i know, it is strange but it works a bit better, anyways, my car antena is powered from the original radio to get a better reception, which is not the case for this unit. GPS is weak, takes forever to find satellites, other than that, very nice unit. And yes, if you have steering wheel buttons, do not forget to connect the can bus, the small black box. 4 stars for lack of instructions, the ones that came aren't very informative. So, it will not work properly out of the box, but with a bit of tweaking, it works as it should.
Sehr enttäuscht. Sieht klasse aus, jedoch sehr schlechte deutsche Übersetzung. Grundeinstellung = Firma Die. Was soll das sein. Radio konnte nicht gestartet werden. Navi geht offline nicht. Nach dem zurücksetzen, waren Apps weg. Radio ging dann wieder. Im Radiotext fehlen Umlaute. Das Speichern der Sender ist schrecklich. Es steht lediglich die Frequenz da. Keine Senderlogos. Funktionen eines VW Golf 6 MJ 09 funktionieren alle im Display. Sitzheizung etc werden angezeigt.
Radioempfang ist schlecht, navigationsapp kann nicht ausgetauscht werden. Nettes Angebot can Bus Anbindung funktioniert einwandfrei. Sonst alles einfach zu bedienen, nur sehr langsam. Dauert sehr lange bis sich das WLAN anmeldet, Google Maps sehr träge. Mein altes Windows CE Gerät war um Welten schneller und besser.
