Since there's a lack of informative comments on Joom, i will write a proper review. A nice unit actually, i was impressed by the sound quality, i was thinking it will be worse for this price. Easy installation, quite straight forward but with few things to consider. 1. If you want the unit to proper shut down when you take the car keys, disconnect the yellow and other cable with the label "no canbus" or something like that and that is it. Radio sucks but in the radio menu choose DX an it will go to the car antenna, it will still have bad connection on vibration so you need to isolate the outer part of the antenna which goes into the input with electric tape, i know, it is strange but it works a bit better, anyways, my car antena is powered from the original radio to get a better reception, which is not the case for this unit. GPS is weak, takes forever to find satellites, other than that, very nice unit. And yes, if you have steering wheel buttons, do not forget to connect the can bus, the small black box. 4 stars for lack of instructions, the ones that came aren't very informative. So, it will not work properly out of the box, but with a bit of tweaking, it works as it should.
Very disappointed. Looks great, but very bad German translation. Basic setting = Company Die. What is that supposed to be. Radio could not be started. Navi does not work offline. After the reset, apps were gone. Radio then went again. Umlauts are missing in the radio text. Saving the stations is terrible. It's just the frequency. No station logos. Functions of a VW Golf 6 MJ 09 all work in the display. Seat heating etc are displayed.
Radio reception is poor, navigation app cannot be exchanged. Nice offer can bus connection works perfectly. Everything else easy to use, just very slow. It takes a long time for the WLAN to register, Google Maps very sluggish. My old Windows CE device was worlds faster and better.
For Șkoda Roomster, it worked perfectly, everything works ideally, the sound is magnificent, the image is sensational, we still have to connect the rear camera, I come back with pictures and video after complete installation, I recommend the product and the store! 5 stars!
